Masahiko Kimura Vs. Mas Oyama?

Who would win in this epic battle? (assuming it hasn't happened already)

Two very remarkable martial artists.

If it was restricted to Judo then Kimura wins I'd say.

Mas Oyama was a 4th dan in judo and legend in the Karate world.

NHB I will go with Mas Oyama my favourite karateka of all time.

Good question and yes Epic would be a good description of that fight.

Kimura was an absolute master of Judo and would have been extremely difficult to deal with inside in a clinch type situation if you didn't want to end up dumped on your head.

Mas Oyama as I understand it also had a background in Judo, but is world famous for his karate training.

It would be dependant on the rules of the match though. In a straight Judo match Kimura wins. Full contact Karate Oyama wins. MMA who knows, but I'd have liked to have seen it happen. Unfortunately none of us will ever see that happen seeing as how they both died 10 years or better ago, I believe both in the early to mid 90's.
