Do you think that the more expensive mascara's are actually that much better than the more reasonably priced ones?

Cause when I tried an expensive mascara, I found that the cheap natural collection mascara actually worked better!

What's the best mascara you've ever tried?

And whats your views on this whole mascara issue? lol

  1. I find mascaras definatly work best when you have curled your lashes, the ones which are £1 from primark are very very good.

Mascaras, my lash care one from natural collection was ok, but when it dried up i vowed i would try a better mascara and i have bought too many, when i only needed one.

I bought bourjois clubbing mascara which one of my friends uses and it really big up your lashes although you have to pracice a bit to be able to perfectly us the applicator. it is meant to be £7 something but there was an offer on in boots to i picked up mine for £5. I wanted waterproof but i accidently picked up disco blue. which was a dissapointment but now i use that sometimes to give a little bit of colour on the tips of my lashes like that two tome max factor mascara.

I then went on a shopping spree on http://www.eyeslipsface.co.uk well i only spent £15 but i got well loads. I bought their clear lash and brow mascara which is really good and i also bought the blask fire and water. The applicator is really small, which i find difficult to use but appart from that it stays on well.

I then went into boots and for £4.99 i picked up Rimmel Volume flash in extreme black which works really really well but ends up flaking off through the day and it is not waterproof but i haven't tried the waterproof version.

I have also had a sample of No7 Intense volume that has to be the worst mascara i have ever used as it makes your lashes look worse than they did before you put the mascara on

So now my routine is curl lashes then apply 1 coat of lash care, 1 coat of volume flash, 1 coat of Elf fire nd water and you brush lashes through between each coat

  2. Maybeline Great Lash (the pink and green container). Mascara is the one item of makeup that you should wear everyday, it does the most to make your eyes pop. However, you should always remove it at night, it can cause early aging around the eyes.

  3. I'm a mascara addict and I would recommend telescopic mascara!!

Its brill!! And lasts for ages!

remember you only get what you pay for!

Pay more get more, pay less get less!!

    xoxo

  4. I can  honestly say that the clinique mascara I use has been the best! I have never had as many compliments on any other ive used. I have used it for over a year now and don't think I will ever like another more than this. Sometimes you pay for what you get...quality wise I know none of the brands sold at walmart can beat out my clinique.

  5. The best mascara i ever had was from clinique, even though its expensive it is useful best i ever had. but i agree on u with the prices of dif mascara they r ridiculous!!!!

  6. I think it depends on what you'd like the mascara to do

define a lash is very good for lengthening and separating but not so good for volume

  7. Well i use Lash Blast mascara in black it is the best mascara i've used. I have used Clinique(it was clumpy and dryed out) And Lancome(it is pretty good but they don't get as long and thick as the Lash Blast does.)

  8. they did a test with like 5 masara's for some women's magazine

    one super cheap one

    one normal one

    one moderately priced one

    and one expensive one

turns out the girl that tested them loved the most expensive one and the cheapest one best

personally i've tried tonnes of different types of mascara and for me it's only about the brush...

  9. i'm currently using maybelline volume express. i've gone through tons of other kinds, and this one is the best i've ever tried. it makes my eyelashes fuller and longer, and the curved shape of the brush helps it look better than using the straight brushes for some reason. i really like it. :)

  10. i think cheap mascaras are the best - bourjois do a great range ecspesially the clubbing mascara - i bought a mascara from lancome and the bourjois one made my eyes lk much bigger  and fuller than the lancome 1 n i paid 22 pounds for it when the bourjois is about 7 pounds and if u buy an expensive mascara u can probally only afford 1 item bt if there cheap u can by lots more cosmetic items and these r usually the best!!!!!

  11. Bourjois Clubber's mascara.

I have really shor eyelashes but they make my lashes look longer and my eyes super big xD.

And sometimes they're on offer from £7.95 to £5.95.

  12. i tried maybelline colossal volum express mascara, and it sucks.

i LOVEEEEEEEE covergirl lashblast, its the one in the orange bottle,

the bristles are like rubber and i find those work the best!!!!!!!

i havent tried this but maybelline define-a-lash (it comes in pink and green)

should be good because the bristles are rubberish too (:

colossal runs about 5, lashblast around 7 or 8, and im not sure about define-a-lash.

<overall i think the best mascara is covergirl lashblast!>

    hope i helped you (:

  13. depedns wich one u like better

  14. I do not think that the more expensive mascaras are better than the more reasonably priced ones.  The best mascara I have ever tried was Bonne Bell's Lip Smackers Lash Splash Clear Mascara.  I think that clear mascaras are a lot better looking than brown or black mascaras.  [:

  15. I agree it's really a matter of opinion I have never tryed any of the more expensive brands but I have always had good results with the drugstore brands

  16. MAYBELLINE is the best! Just because its expensive, then doesnt mean its good..

  17. i am 13 almost 14.

    and loreal is good.

    waterproof :)

  18. I agree with you, affordable brands like natural collection, 17, maybelline and rimmel etc are just as good as expensive ones, granted there is the occasional product that is better from the expensive ranges, but most of the time you're paying for the brand name rather than the product

  19. Cheaper ones work just as good.

I find them to work good.

    My friend bought a $7 macara and a $2.

She said the $2 worked better.

  20. I think a good drug store one is best: not designer not too cheap. Personally i don't find natural collection good at all, but easily affordable ones especially maybeline work best for me!
