Mascara question! How to keep it off your face and on your eye lashes!

Question

I have spent up to fifty dollars on mascara, and i have used water proof, but no matter what my mascara always finds itself on my face from blinking/ect. through out the day even if it is dry. I have tried to put powder all around my eye (a lot) but it always finds its way. How do i stop mascara from getting under my eye/ect.?

extra information:

i get really sweaty at work and by the end of the day it looked like i put black powder under my eye eventhough i use water proof. =/

First, check on ur skin type around ur eyes. If it's oily, then there is ur problem. The skin oil smear even ur best waterproof mascara. Thats why waterproof eye make up cleanser has oil in it. I know so coz that was my problem too. And i dont wear my wtrprf mscr on my underlash. It helped me alot.

You can buy certain products that are used to make makeup stay on all day long. And maybe try some non-water proof mascaras, because I've heard that water proof is much more flakey. I don't use it, myself.

Shelaque, by Benefit is a product that you put on over the top of makeup to make it stay. I haven't tried it before, but it's won a few awards.

IM A MAKEUP ARTIST (MYSPACE.COM/TLOMAKEUP) AND ID SUGGEST NOT WEARING MASCARA ON THE BOTTOM LASHES, TO MAKE THEM STAND OUT USE ONLY A PENCIL LINER OR CLEAR MASCARA. ;)

You can use primer.

just apply it then after that apply ur mascara like normal.
