Putting in a solid all-round effort, the Mashonaland Eagles claimed a comprehensive 7-wicket win over the Southern Rocks in the ongoing Zimbabwe Domestic Twenty20 Competition, 2012/13, played at the Harare Sports Club on October 7.
The Mashonaland Eagles won the toss and elected to field first, with their bowlers, notable among them Ray Price (4-0-20-2), ensuring that the Southern Rocks were restricted to a final total of 120 by the end of 20 overs.

In response, the Eagles needed only 16 overs to chase the target down successfully. Openers Cephas Zhuwao (49) and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/CJ-Chibhabha-c1263 (46*) established a solid 89-run stand, and despite the dismissal of Zhuwao at the hands of Trevor Garwe in the 13th
over, Chibhabha led the team home.

ones who managed to pick up any wickets - one each. Despite his one scalp, Chisoro remained the most expensive, conceding 11 runs in just one over.
By the end of 16 overs, with Chibhabha and skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mashonaland-Eagles-c814 managed to reach 121 with 7 wickets and 24 deliveries still remaining.
