Mason coin worth anything?

i have what i believe is a mason coin from possibly an old insurance coin one side shows $1000 on the bottom and has the letters M.W.A. on the top of the coin,with a symbol in the middle of like a shield with 4 different pictures in it, on the other side it says brazen on the top and coin on the bottom with 2 axes crossing in the middle and is 1 3/4" across,, i was wondering if anyone knows if it is worth anything today

It does not sound like a Mason coin which is a penny usually. It is a rather strange item for the value is very high and coins or tokens are never that high unless a gaming chip. You have an item I need to see photo's or good quality scans. In your case a photo is worth a thousand words. I may be able to track it down if I had images to go by.
