Mass Effect Question - Can You Actually Pilot The Ships?

what i mean is can i take control of a space ship and cruise around with full control ?

Yuppers...as long as there is remaining fuel for the thrusters...that's what gives you control of your direction...attitude(not altitude!), yaw and pitch.

No thrusters...no controll

No.  You can not take direct control of any of the ships in the game.  The only vehicle that you can pilot is a rover called the Mako.

Ive beaten the game and by far the only vechile you can control is the Mako. So i doubt you can fly the ship.

Anyways you might get lost in your trip :P
