Most massage therapists start their own business.  Starting pay on a job is $12-$15 an hour usually. You can only work about 20-25 hours a week because of the physical demands.  If you don't have a massage client you have to clean and do other things for minimum wage.

It can be, if you work in a place that pays well and the clients are high income and tip you well.

OMG YES!! You can work for yourself, a spa, a doctor, the possibilities are endless! You make good money and you set your hours. I cant wait to do that!
