Question:

Masse in pool/billiards?

Okay. I've read and bought books on how to masse(make the ball curve) in pool/billiards. Nothing helps, I keep trying, and I only get a small curve. How do I determine where it will curve, when it will start to curve, and most of all, where do you hit it to make the cue ball go forward and then back without bouncing off anything? I've tried bottom spin even on 85 degree angle...still not working!!! Please help!!!

Also, my cue chalks up VERY bad!!!

Whenever I try to chalk it, it only gets the edges and not the top. I try to chalk in different ways, lightly, hard, sideways, everything, and it still chalks bad.

  1. go qicker

  2. masse is not a thing i can explain online but I can offer you the easy purchase of a tip shaper,

http://www.insidepool.com/order/Pool+Cue... or these beauties here http://www.cuepower.co.uk/index.php?main...

and then there's the one I"ve been carrying around with me for like 16 years and it's called the cue cube http://www.cuesight.com/ccttcu.html and so on........ they get much more constly and much more effective as well, these are just some cheaper versions that work well enough !

I really would not be shooting pool without one. Mine is made out of metal and I have been carrying it around with me since I was in my early 20's so I would get one if I were you they are awesome to have..... be well !
