The former Cagliari manager has guaranteed that the San Siro outfit will be busy in the transfer market to add new faces to the squad before the window closes.
The Diavolo have come under immense pressure from their former players and fans, after they sold http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Silva-c34903 to Paris Saint-Germain. The club’s hierarchy has come under increasing scrutiny for a lack of vision, as they had sold a
number of players prior to the exit of Ibrahimovic and Silva from the club.
A total of twelve players have left the club, which has left a gap in the squad which needs to be quickly addressed. The Rossoneri have lost key personnel like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Clarence-Seedorf-c9275 and Pippo Inzaghi among a host of other players.
The mass exodus was apparently meant to cut down the wage bill of the club, keeping in mind the Financial Fair Play regulations to be implemented by FIFA in the upcoming seasons. It has achieved its desired result, but the Rossoneri have not gone ahead and
signed adequate replacement for the players.
Kevin Constant, Francesco Acerbi and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Riccardo-Montolivo-c31049 have made their way into the team; however, they have either been free transfers or relatively cheap buys.
This has panicked the Rossoneri faithful who feel hard done by the club they support. Massimiliano Allegri was talking to the club’s official website and he was quick to address the issue. He went on to state that the club knew what it was doing and there
was no need to panic as the transfer window still has some time to go before it closes.
Allegri remarked:
"The club knows very well what we need and we have talked about it. We will work with these players for now, and the transfer market will bring new players from now until August 31."
The Diavolo boss remarked on Saturday’s losses in the Trofeo TIM and stated:
"The lads played two good matches; we made a few mistakes that led to the goals. We played better in the second match in terms of our technique, and I am pleased as it was only our second outing.”
Milan succumbed to two defeats and ended in the last place of the mini-tournament.
