The Rossoneri boss hails the club bosses for giving him free hand in transfers, and hails the Catania striker as a top player
A.C Milan manager, Massimiliano Allegri, has insisted that he will be happy with the arrival of either Maxi Lopez or http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez at the end of this month.
Tevez is heavily linked with a move to Milan for the past few months, but question marks remain over his arrival at San Siro after the two clubs could not reach an agreement over the transfer fee. The Italian Champions have put Catania striker, Maxi Lopez, on the standby should a move for the Argentine fail to materialize.
Club Vice-President, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adriano-c3773 Galliani, has confirmed that the Rossoneri will decide about the signing of Tevez or Lopez on Friday. However, Allegri is not worried with whoever joins the Champions, and insists that he only wants a new striker at the end of this month.
The former Cagliari boss insisted that he feels lucky to be given full backing by the club. The tactician hailed Maxi Lopez, insisting that he is a great player and Milan always go for the best players.
The 44-year-old insisted that he is calm with the transfer saga, and believes that the club bosses are there to handle these issues.
Allegri also ruled out any midfield signings during the ongoing January transfer window, and insisted that he will have few of his midfielders back from injury in the next few days.
While talking to the reporters, Allegri insisted,
“I consider myself as lucky because the club will provide me with an important player. Lopez? We’ve evaluated a few things and he’s a great player. If he wasn’t then we wouldn’t be considering him.”
“I’m living through this period normally. I’m calm, the club are looking after things and we’ll see how it ends up. The club know what they are doing. Midfield signings? I have enough midfielders. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alberto-Aquilani-c4313 is on the road to recovery too.”
A.C Milan have also signed Alexander Merkel and Djamel Mesbah in the ongoing transfer window.
