The AC Milan manager feels that the Old Lady’s silence towards the media is excessive and decisions not going in your favour are part and parcel of the game.
AC Milan and Juventus have been embroiled in a season long battle for the Scudetto and there is no clear winner after match day 27 of the Serie A.
Even though the Milanello command a four-point lead at the summit of the Lega standings, it is still too close to call which team has the advantage at this point in time.
During the course of the season, Juventus have consistently felt hard done by the refereeing decisions not going in their favour. Antonio Conte, the Juve tactician, has voiced his opinions a number of times.
However, after Conte was sent off for dissent towards the match officials in week 26 of the Serie A, he has avoided the media ever since. And after Simone Pepe’s disallowed offside goal in their match against Genoa, neither the players nor the coaching staff
of Juventus attended the media conferences.
In light of this ongoing controversy, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Max-c24993 Allegri gave his two cents to the predicament, and opined that such decisions are not just restricted to the Bianconeri and happen with every club. He reflected
on the draw that Milan and Juve fought out in their last month’s tie of the Serie A. He commented:
"It was a bad decision, but it is part of the game," Allegri added. "[Sulley] Muntari's goal was very clear, but Juventus are still debating whether [Simone] Pepe's goal was offside or not.”
The Rossoneri tactician mentioned that there needs to be a deviation from criticising referee’s and focus needs to be given to the performance made by the teams.
"After the matches, we have to discuss technical and tactical matters, not the officials' decisions. There is no tension on our part, but I see that many are putting together dossiers and no one is discussing
the decisions which favoured Juventus.”
While reflecting on the disallowed goal in the match against the Bianconeri, Allegri stated that they “hope that it will not be decisive in the Scudetto race."
There is still some time left before the end of the season, and the race for the Scudetto would only intensify with each passing week.
