The head coach of the AC Milan football club has gone on to reiterate that he made the selection of Pato based on the best of knowledge, while reflecting on the match.
When a team is doing well, the relative flukes made by the head coaches of teams can be turned into strokes of genius; whereas when a team is doing poorly, each decision made by the coaches are scrutinised in added detail.  This has been the curse of many
managers, and in probably one of his hardest terms at any club, Massimiliano Allegri is feeling the heat that many before him have felt.
Obviously when you are a manager at a big club like AC Milan, the pressures and rewards are both huge and polar opposites of each other. The start of the Diavolo outfit has not been up to the mark and the press and the fans are letting the team feel the
heat of their actions as well. However, amongst all the accusations being mounted on him, especially regarding the inclusion of Pato in the starting line up for their recent match against Fiorentina; but Allegri remarked on his inclusion by stating that he
made the decision while keeping in mind a few things.
The head coach of the Rossoneri outfit went on to remark on his inclusion and stated that the Brazilian needs playing time under his belt to achieve his potential, but also bemoaned matches in quick succession. He went on to state:
“Pato had done well on Tuesday, so I thought he would grow and improve by playing more. The problem is that our style of football needs us to run at full speed and playing every three days we can’t do that.”
While reflecting on the match against the Viola, Allegri reminded his team not to lost concentration during matches, and mentioned:
“Sometimes we have to play badly and try to get a result anyway. We ought to avoid the slips in concentration. It’s a shame about the results, as we could’ve gone up to sixth place today and did not manage it.”
Milan are level on points with the newly promoted Torino, which is a big cause of concern for the Rossoneri outfit.
