The Rossoneri boss urges his team to remain calm, and predicting a tough game against in-form Udinese
A.C Milan manager, Massimiliano Allegri, has demanded improvement from his side ahead of their game against Udinese.
Milan will take on the Bianconeri in matchday 23 encounter of Serie A at Stadio Friuli on Saturday, 11 February 2012. The Champions have witnessed a difficult period of late, having lost two of their last three matches in all competitions.
Allegri knows the importance of the game against the Bianconeri, and has urged his team to remain calm despite the poor recent form. The tactician has insisted that the team should play with more intensity and give their best to
get all three points against Udinese.
While talking to the reporters, Allegri said,
“It will be an important game against Udinese, but the squad is calm. We’ve analysed the defeats and we have to give more in terms of intensity and the brand of football we want to employ. We need to do that to start picking up
points.”
Francesco Guidolin’s men have had a wonderful campaign so far, and are genuine title contenders this season. The Zebrette are yet to taste a home defeat this season, and have won 10 of the 11 matches played at home soil. Allegri
is expecting a difficult test for his side and insists that the Bianconeri will be tough to beat at home.
“They are a quick team who are very capable on the break. Tactically speaking, we’ll have to show patience but also be alert in defence. They play some nice football and it will be tough for us.” Added the former Cagliari boss
Milan will be without the services of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Salvatore-Aronica-c32276 in the last round of matches. The Swede will miss his team’s next three games in the Serie A.
On the other hand, a win for Udinese will put them level on points with the Rossoneri. Guidolin’s men are placed 4th in the league table with 41 points from 22 matches played so far.
