The Rossoneri boss ready for Fiorentina challenge and urges his team to take the Viola seriously; wants to win the Scudetto for the second time running.

AC Milan manager, Massimiliano Allegri, has urged his team to shift their focus from Uefa Champions League to Serie A, and make sure that they lift the Scudetto come the end of the season.
The Rossoneri were dumped out of the Europe’s most elite competition, after suffering a 3-1 aggregate defeat at the hands of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604. After getting knocked out of the Coppa Italia and Champions League, the Scudetto remains the
only possibility of lifting a trophy for Massimiliano Allegri’s side this season.
With only eight matches left to play in the Serie A, the Rossoneri are braced for an intense battle for the top spot. The Italian Champions currently lead the league standings with a two-point cushion over second-placed, Juventus.
Allegri has urged his men to forget the European knockout and concentrate on defending their league title. The tactician believes that each and every point is of great importance at this point of time, and has demanded full concentration
from his team.
Milan will host Fiorentina in their next game at San Siro on Saturday, 07 April, and the former Cagliari boss has urged his men not to undermine the opposition.
While talking to the assembled press, Allegri stated:
“We must forget the elimination from the Champions League. We need to think about the points and winning games, starting tomorrow, which will not be easy despite the difficult period Fiorentina are in. We feel as we did last year
when we had http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 two and three points behind us.”
“It will be a fascinating battle to the end and we have an obligation, even without the head-to-head record to get to the finish a point ahead of Juventus, and so we start from tomorrow.”
Fiorentina have struggled badly in the ongoing campaign, and are just one place ahead of the relegation zone. A point will be nothing short of a victory for the Viola club, who are positioned just five points above the drop zone.
