The Rossoneri head coach remarked on the loss to Udinese and reiterated his stance that the Rossoneri played good football in the Serie A match against the Friulani.
The Diavolo outfit changed their tactics in the match against the Bianconeri outfit and Allegri opted to employ the 4-3-3 formation against Guidolin’s men, with the attacking trio consisting of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Giampaolo-Pazzini-c14802, Urby Emanuelson and Stephan El Shaarawy.
The match, however, was lost by the San Siro outfit by two goals to one, and the Rossoneri outfit were down to nine men during the match, which made the task to make a comeback an impossible thought during the match.
Coach Allegri remarked that his men played good football, and went on to state that they were looking to work on their deficiency of conceding from set pieces. He further went on to remark that the team were not giving their full attention to the case at
hand, and also went on to state that there needs to be an improvement while dealing with set pieces.
He went on to remark:
“We played better today, spreading the play and creating many chances, especially in the first 20 minutes. It’s only normal that these three defeats have to be worked on, particularly set plays as we tend to concede from those.”
Allegri has gone on to state his annoyance at constantly hearing that the best players of the team have left the squad which has made the Rossoneri outfit a far less formidable outfit to deal with. He further went on to remark that it was not as if the team
would not be able to perform in the Serie A and the Champions League, so talks of a downfall need to stop. Despite his annoyance, he went on to mention the need to perform better in the future.
He remarked that time needs to be given to the players to perform to the best of their abilities and perform as a cohesive unit. He also remarked:
“The summer did see many changes, so it will take time to gel this new team. We are not conceding goals on the counter-attack like we did against Real Madrid, but do keep making mistakes when marking from set pieces.”
Milan have not won any of their matches at home this season, which is a worrying statistic for many fans.
