A.C Milan manager, Massimiliano Allegri, has revealed that he cannot guarantee striker, Antonio Cassano a first team place.
Cassano joined the Italian champions from Sampdoria in the January transfer window of the 2010/11 season. The Italian international became a huge success at the club and even though he did not score as many goals but his presence
on the field really helped Milan reclaim the Scudetto after seven long years.

and Robinho at their disposal and it would be very hard for Cassano to get into the first team. Allegri has also insisted that everyone will have to fight for their places and no one is a guaranteed starter. However, the tactician praised Cassano and confirmed
that he is an important figure in his plans for the next season.
Talking to the reporters Allegri said, “No club and no Coach in the world can guarantee a starting spot for a player. Cassano will be important for Milan, just as he was in the six months he played for us so far.”
“Last term we found a style of football and a team identity that allowed us to win the Scudetto. Of course we need to improve on dead ball situations and other things. We start this season with an advantage, as we know the four
new players in the side when beginning training,” continued Allegri.
