The head coach of the Serie A giants, AC Milan, has gone on to comment on the prospects of the Rossoneri outfit and has stated that they need to improve in their play.
It is a must win match for the Rossoneri outfit and with the stakes so high for the men from Milan, it has left the men from the great club with no other choice. The cause of such dismay and the chaotic style of play (at times) is down to the fact that the
club has not had the same experience and the same level of players that once wore the club’s shirts.
Last season alone, the Rossoneri outfit let go of more than 13 players from the side, which included the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Cassano-c6302; among others. This has created a vacuum within the
squad, and the only known leader figure at the club is the relatively elder figure of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Massimo-Ambrosini-c24579, who is the only survivor from the team that lifted the Champions League trophy in Athens.
This has put too much pressure on the shoulders of the Italian, and it seems like he might not be able to guide the team to a rescue, any time soon. The higher management at the club underestimated the leadership qualities of the players, along with the
experience and calmness they brought to the Rossoneri game. In a side filled with youngsters, there has to be more than one guiding light during matches where the going gets tough.
They need someone to tell them how to counteract the situation and to let “the tough get going”; the head coach of the Rossoneri has gone on to state that he would be looking to perform to the best of their abilities and they will be looking to make their
presence evident. He also remarked:
“I always said the Champions League group would be balanced and it will be until the end. Tomorrow by the time we play, we’ll already know Zenit’s result against Malaga, but either way I think qualification will be open to the final game.”
Coach Allegri would be looking to pump his men up for the game against Anderlecht.
