The former Cagliari boss has been hampered with a few injury concerns at the start of the season, and he is looking for ways to work around the situation he is in.
The Diavolo boss has not had the best of luck with injuries in the past two seasons, as Milan have been the club with the biggest casualties in the past two seasons, compared to other clubs. However, Allegri conceded that he risked players at the tail end
of last season as they were competing for the Scudetto. This inadvertently led to extended injuries of players, and many key players were part of that injury list; with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kevin-Prince-Boateng-c20792 just two of the players who were affected by such
decisions.
They saw Robinho and Alexandre Pato out of action due to the injuries sustained as well, and there was not once that the treatment table of the club was not occupied by an injury. The pattern seems to have followed them into the current season, as they have
a few players being treated so early into the season as well.
Another thing that is affecting the club is the fact that they have a far weaker squad as compared to last season, so even though the injuries last season could be covered by the larger squad; they do not have the same amount of players as last season.
This can be seen by the fact that the club parted ways with more than 13 players this summer, and they have not strengthened the squad with the same amount of players.
As of this precise moment, they have a few players on the bench, on the attacking front; they see Alexandre Pato and Robinho recovering from their respective injuries.
While informing the media and inadvertently their fans on the injury situation at the club, Massimiliano Allegri went on to state:
“http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Riccardo-Montolivo-c31049 is almost there - we have to see if he can play against Anderlecht without running any big risks.”
He also went on to comment on the availability of Philippe Mexes, and remarked that he will be featuring in the Champions League.
