The Rossoneri boss hits back at media antics and hail his team’s win over Domenico Di Carlo’s side; demands focus from the Italian Champions.

AC Milan manager, Massimiliano Allegri, has hit back at critics after his team’s 1-0 win over Chievo Verona at Stadio Marc Antonio Bentegodi on Tuesday, April 10th.
The Rossoneri have moved at the top of the Serie A points table for at least 24 hours, as Juventus are set to host http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 in their respective midweek game. Milan were under severe criticism after their shocking defeat at the hands
of relegation struck, Fiorentina, over the weekend.
The Italian Champions were made to struggle for their win over Domenico Di Carlo’s men, as Sulley Muntari’s 8th minute goal was the only difference between the two sides. Allegri understands the importance of the win,
and believes that the three points will be extremely important in terms of the title race.
The Rossoneri tactician admitted to the struggles his team had to face to register the win, but believes that the injury problems forced him to include half-fit players in the team.
Allegri slammed the role of media after his team’s defeat, and believes that the Rossoneri answered to them very well.
While talking to the media after the game, Allegri said:
“Tonight it was an extremely important game. We didn’t play well, but if we didn’t win then we could definitively drop out of the Scudetto race. We brought home a crucial result despite missing so many players. We had to field

The former Cagliari boss is delighted to see his team stay alive in the title race, and believes that they will not succumb to pressure from the media. With only six matches left to play in the season, the Diavolo will be looking
to make most of their chances to defend their Scudetto crown.
