The AC Milan manager has asked for tranquillity to be restored after the huge row created in the match against Juventus, with cries of injustice from both sides.
It was expected that the Milan-Juve clash would end up in a controversy. Subsequently, both teams felt injustice done to them by refereeing decisions during the match.
Players from both set of teams have bemoaned the decision made by the referee. AC Milan defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Silva-c34903, requested the need for technology in big matches. Silvio Berlusconi, the AC Milan patron, was
also critical of the decision making in the match, and has asked for use of technology in big games.
However, despite the overall frustration generated by the outcome, Allegri has requested everyone to calm down, remarking that such decisions are part and parcel of the game. He commented:
“There was anger because it was an important game. Certain episodes take place during games and they need to be faced with serenity. Referees make mistakes.”
The former Cagliari tactician conceded that there was dissatisfaction with the result, but he had nothing malicious to say about the referees.
“I’m disappointed with what took place, but I have nothing against the match officials. There was an error, but the game was well officiated.”
There was a huge uproar on the comments made by Juventus goalkeeper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gianluigi-Buffon-c14833, who stated that he would not have told the referee if he knew that the ball had crossed the line. This claim was in respect with the disallowed
goal of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sulley-Muntari-c34312.
The Rossoneri tactician distanced himself yet again, stating that he had no comments about the Bianconeri star’s claims. He also stated that he would like to talk about football, and the duty rests with the referee.
“I don’t want to say anything about that. I’d rather just talk about football. The referees need to make decisions therefore the responsibility is theirs.”
The Milan-Juve clash ended in a 1-1 draw at San Siro recently. If Muntari’s goal had stood, A. C Milan would have been sitting atop with a four-point lead ahead of Juventus.
