The Milan coach has gone on to remark on the rumours circulating around his future at the club and he has categorically stated that he is not afraid of being fired.
The Rossoneri outfit have been embroiled in one of their worst starts to a season since the 1940s as the club have only managed seven points from the eight matches they have played so far in the Lega. Furthermore, they are in the doldrums of the Serie A
and are currently flirting with the relegation zone, and after nearly a quarter of the season has passed, the Rossoneri giants find themselves in heaps of pressure, criticisms and in between a rock and a hard place.
The criticism has been mounting since the pre season, as there was heaps of it being brandished to the owners of the club, the Berlusconi family, who were criticised for their transfer strategy (or rather a lack of a transfer strategy) in their matches of
late. They let go off more than 13 players in the summer of 2012, and this led to a tussle between the Sporting Director of the club, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adriano-c3773 Galliani, and their head coach, Massimiliano Allegri.
There was a tussle between the two personnel of the club, as the head coach of the side went on to state that they would be targeting the top three places, whereas Galliani remarked the club should be aiming for the Scudetto and also that Allegri had no
excuses not to deliver. This feud continued for a while, before the two sought to work things out.
While commenting on the future of the club and his own, he remarked that everyone needs to stay calm and not panic. He realises that they are in a sticky situation but over thinking would only aggravate the matter, and remarked:
“But my team is not in difficulty and we are not playing badly. But football is often decided by certain incidents. We have to stay calm. Thinking too much will drive you mad. We can’t think about what has happened over the last two years with players that
had certain characteristics. Now I need to get the best out of those I have here.”
The Italian outfit take on the promising Spaniards, Malaga, in the UEFA Champions League.
