The former Cesena youth prodigy has remarked on the faith bestowed by the supporters of the San Siro outfit during times of hardship and suffering for the players.
The Rossoneri outfit have been suffering from a lack of confidence in their abilities and the agitation amongst the players is showing on the field of play. This is partly due to the fact that the club is recuperating from their losses in the squad that
have come about during the latest edition of the summer transfer window.
Having already lost the likes of many of their senior players, which included the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mark-van-Bommel-c24148 and others; the club parted ways with a number of younger players as well. In
a bid to balance the books and pay off their overflowing debts, the San Siro outfit were allegedly forced into selling their top performers of the 2011-12 season as they finally caved into the lures of millions offered by Paris Saint-Germain. The Parc de Princes
outfit offered 60 million Euros for the services of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029, which was accepted by the San Siro giants.
In totality, the club went on to part ways with 13 players over the summer and the number of arrivals at the club was considerably less than the number of departures. This has meant that there were a considerable number of individuals who were new to the
ideology and ways of Massimiliano Allegri. This has led to their recent downturn in fortunes as they are dwindling in the mediocrities of the Serie A table.
The patience of the fans has been tested during these times and Ambrosini has remarked that he realises and appreciates the support they have provided. He went on to remark:
“The fans have been wonderful. They always showed how much they care about the jersey and are proving it even more now that the results are not arriving. They confirmed that yesterday and we are grateful to them.”
The next challenge for the Rossoneri outfit is in Europe where they have a better record and they would be looking to overcome Malaga in their third group match of the Champions League.
