The Rossoneri skipper delighted with the win over Bianconeri; Maxi Lopez elated after a dream goal
A.C Milan skipper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Massimo-Ambrosini-c24579, insists that the win over Udinese has given his team a big confidence boost.
A remarkable late comeback from Maxi Lopez and Stephan El-Shaarawy handed the Champions with an important 2-1 win at Stadio Friuli on Saturday, February 11. The Rossoneri climb to the top of the league table with the three points
in Udine.
Milan picked up a draw and two defeats in their last three matches in all competitions, and Ambrosini believes that the win will boost the confidence in the camp.
Ambrosini knows the importance of the three points against the Bianconeri, and insists that the Rossoneri have proved their worth after winning this important game. He believes that the confidence amongst the players has boosted
a great deal after the match and it will set the pace for remainder of the season.
The veteran midfielder believes that Antonio Di Natale’s opening goal charged them to fight for the winner, and had they not been forced to play the catch up, they would not have scored.
While talking to the official club website, Massimo Ambrosini said,
"It was good to win because it shows the characteristics of this team, which is not just great players who can win games with ease, but also a team who can bring home three points that were tough to get. A win like this gives us
confidence and enthusiasm. After they scored, it was a bit complicated, but maybe if they hadn't scored, we wouldn't have taken to the field the way we did in the second half."
On the other hand, goal hero, Maxi Lopez, is delighted to score an important goal for his new club.
"I'm really happy because scoring for this team has always been my dream. We have to continue to find wind and to get the three points one game at a time."
Massimiliano Allegri’s men moved to the top of the league table after the win, having played two extra games than rivals, Juventus.
