The stand in coach of the Turin outfit has gone on to comment on the result of the third match day of the Serie A, and stated that they need to do more of the same.
The reigning Scudetto holders have gone on extremely effectively in their pursuit of holding on to their title as the Serie A Champions, and despite having tricky opposition to contend with in the opening encounters of their defence of their title.
They had won both their matches going into the third match of their Serie A campaign, and Carrera also stated that he would be looking for more commitment from the players going into the remaining fixtures. The match took a turn for the worse after Ciro
Immobile came back to haunt the Juve camp after he opened the scoring for Genoa.
The Grifone were decisive and Immobile was clinical in his finishing and consequently putting the Marassi outfit in the lead. Playing away from Turin was always going to be a challenge for the reigning Scudetto holders; especially now that the opposition
knows how Juve play under Antonio Conte.
Carrera works as the eyes and mind of Antonio Conte, as he looks to impart decisions that the former Bari manager would have gone through with. The stand in coach of the Bianconeri outfit was talking to the media after his side registered a victory in their
third match of the season.
The technical assistant of Conte went on to comment that the Grifone were a well organised outfit and were unforgiving in their performance at home. He further remarked that they did well to spread the game on to a wider frame, and stated:
“We suffered in the first half and knew Marassi would be a tough place to play. Genoa started very strong and caught us unprepared on the counter a couple of times. We then did well to start controlling the tempo and spreading the play.”
