The Nerazzurri President reveals that he loved the manager’s performance in the Derby Della Madonnina, and will confirm him for the next season.
Inter Milan President, Massimo Moratti, has admitted that the manager has proved his mettle to the world with a spectacular victory over Champions AC Milan, and insists that the he is willing to extend the coach’s stay with the
Milan outfit.
The 36-year-old used to coach http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567’s Primavera side, but was promoted to replace Claudio Ranieri at the helm of the senior side. The appointment of the caretaker manager saw a turnaround in the dismal season of the club, and the
Nerazzurri President has now confirmed that the coach will stay.
Moratti stated that he has decided to keep the juvenile manager at the rudder of the Beneamata. He revealed that it was the remarkable performance in the Milan derby that swung his opinion in favour of Serie A’s youngest manager.
While talking to Sky Sport Italia, the oil tycoon said:
“I will confirm Stramaccioni. He proved his experience in a derby that really delighted me.”
Stramaccioni master minded the 4-2 win over the Rossoneri, where they came back from a goal down to mount two over the city rivals. The defeat saw the Diavolo get knocked out of the Scudetto challenge, and crowned Juventus the
Champions of 2011-12 Serie A season.
The former Primavera manager won five of his eight Serie A games with the senior side, while two ended in stalemates and one in a defeat for the Nerazzurri.
Moratti admitted that the Old Lady have exhibited a display better than the rest of the teams in the league, and deserve to take the Scudetto. However, he wished for the controversies surrounding the league to finish soon.
“Juve deserved the championship. I want the controversies to end though.”
The Beneamata chief dismissed rumours of allegedly scheduled meeting with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 President Aurelio De Laurentiis, after he was sighted near the Old Lady’s establishment.
Reports have emerged suggesting that Inter Milan are interested in the services of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ezequiel-Lavezzi-c13073, and are lining up a bid to buy the player from the Partenopei, in the summer transfer window.
