The Chief Executive Officer of the San Siro outfit has gone on to respond to the criticism levied on to the club by FifPro on their situation with Wesley Sneijder.
Wesley Sneijder has had an uneasy relationship with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan for over a year and the situation does not seem to be subsiding any time soon; while under the guidance of Claudio Ranieri, Sneijder was not used in his preferred role in the team. The results
of the team did not help the cause of the team as well, as the team was spiralling down into one of their worst streak of results. The team only managed to secure a solitary victory over Chievo Verona, during the last ten matches of Claudio Ranieri, after
which the club parted ways with the former AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 boss following mutual consent.
The contractual situation at the moment between Sneijder and the Nerazzurri outfit has not been good as well and it seems like the head coach is finding ways to play without the Dutch midfielder. Sneijder has not featured in the recent matches, and it is
understood that the Beneamata outfit have informed Sneijder that he would not be allowed to play in the senior team of the side if he does not sign a new contract with the club.
The former Real Madrid midfielder is in his last year of contract and he has quoted to have said that he does not know what will happen in the future, leading the door open to all sorts of rumours that link the player with a move away from the club.
Massimo Moratti has gone on to remark on the situation regarding Sneijder and denied any role of blackmailing in the process, he was also quoted to have said:
“As far as the club is concerned, we are completely open to the player, there is no sort of blackmail. If a contract is valid, it's certainly valid to ask a person if it can be improved in some way. That doesn't change the fact that for the time being he's
not playing for technical reasons. Obviously no one would want to throw away someone of his value. His contract is valid, no one is forcing him, Sneijder is free.”
