his side to a victory in the Lega.
Totti was too much to handle for the Nerazzurri midfield and defence as he ran riot and ended up providing two assists in their 3-1 romping of the San Siro outfit. There had been a lot of criticism of the Nerazzurri outfit following the defeat, especially
after their draw in the Europa League at the hands of Vaslui.
Massimo Moratti went on to explain that despite the negatives, the aim of the side and the coach should be to work on their weaknesses and look ahead. The oil baron reflected on the talent that the team had and stated that it was not a case of the squad
not being talented enough, but that of time; as he felt that the team would get better after playing together more often.
He commented that it was not easy to immediately gel together as a team, and remarked:

While taking on the subject of their European endeavours so far, Moratti pointed out that a reason behind such a humbling was the fact that the team was tired by their mid week excursions in Europe.
He remarked that they need to work on their stamina, while mentioning:
“One of the things we have to get used to is playing the Europa League on a Thursday which will make things physically difficult for the players. We need to look at ways of ensuring the lads come into games feeling fresh on a Sunday.”
The game against Vaslui ended in a draw, with the score finishing at 2-2.
