Master's swimming in the DC area?

I'm going to be in the Washington DC area May 29-June2. I'm staying near the corner of 6th Street South and South Adams Street in Arlington. I would like to drop-in on a Master's practice. I'm hoping to find somewhere within walking distance. I'm 37 and a beginner. I just started swimming in August of 2007, and I've never done any organized swimming before. I'd like to find a place that was beginner friendly. I saw that there was a YMCA there, but I really want to swim with in a practice.

I'm not personally familiar with these places, but it gives you a place to start. It's the "places to swim" page from US Masters Swimming website for the DC area:

I only checked one location -- the Arlington Ageless Masters work out 2-1/2 miles from where you are staying.
