Master Ball question? (kind of stupid but please help?)?

Ok...I'm about to catch a Rayquaza and I was told to use a Master Ball. I only have one and I'm scared that the Master might miss or not work? Is it possible? Some told me that it could miss and some told me that it never misses? Which one? Please and thank-you!

It WILL NOT miss.  The master ball has a 100% catch rate, which means if it misses, someone messed with your game!  I would suggest not using it.  All it takes is patince to catch it in an ultra ball.  That is what I caught my Girtiana in.

The master ball can never miss and can catch any pokemon with a 100% capture rate but pokemon already caught by other people... I don't think you should use your master ball on a Rayquaza unless you are looking for a specific natured one.

No it never ever misses,its a 100% catch.I would use it on him,I think I used over 100 ultra balls until I finally caught my Rayquaza.

The Master Ball is a one of a kind Pokeball that has a 100% catch rate. It's a common misconception that people have been spreading saying that there is a chance it can miss, however any rumours regarding the Master Ball missing the catch are completely untrue and/or unfounded. Don't believe it; it's the only Pokeball guarenteed to make the catch. However, if you don't want to use that Master Ball, I can tell you from personal experience that patience and an Ultra Ball can catch that Rayquaza too. Pack at least 30 - 50 of them, and bring a good Level 80+ Pokemon to wear him down to the red zone, then keep on firing Ultra Balls until he is captured. (Paralyzing him or making him fall asleep works too, but don't burn him; that'll make him die if you wear him down into the red zone.) Use the Master Ball as a last resort sort of thing. (Be sure to save before you fight him!)
