When we talk about top tennis players of all time, certainly some great names came into our minds. These players were known to be the best in field, when they hold the tennis racket in their hands.

I am going to discuss the world’s top five best male players in the history of tennis, which includes both former and current players. These players are best in my opinion. So, you have full rights to disagree with it. Don’t worry I’m not going to sue you.
Ok, let’s get to the point and start discussing the players in bottom to top sequence.
At five, in my opinion is a player from Czechoslovakia who later becomes the United States citizen. I hope you guess it right? Yes, I am talking about the great player of his time and former world no .1 Ivan Lendl. He was famous for his dominancy in the court against his opponent, which make him the best player of 1980s. He captured eight Grand Slams single titles under his name and played nineteen grand slam single finals, which was clear proof of his class and dominancy in that time. He was famous for using his topspin forehand shot to deceive his opponent. He used that shot against McEnroe (another great name in world tennis) at French open final and turned the game into his favor.
The only issue in his game was Inconsistency. He was not consistent at net, may be because of his high toss. But a part of this, world remember him as a greatest player of tennis.
At four is the Australian former player, a six foot tall strongest and fittest tennis player of his time. Because of his fitness he was always ready for the long and stressed matches. His name was Roy Emerson. He is known to be an only male player who has singles and doubles title under his belt in all major tournaments. By capturing twelve grand slams single titles and sixteen double titles in his carrier he holds the record of it as a male player.
Clearly, his figures represents that he was a top class player.
At 3rd is an American tennis star and former no 1, known with the name “The Punisher”. Yes you are right; I am talking about Andre Agassi. He was one of those players who achieved the Carrier Golden Slam.  He captured eight Grand slam Single titles under his name and one Olympic gold medal. He was famous to wrap up games early in the beginning of his carrier because of his heavy service return. Lately, He was known to be the best service returner in history of tennis.
At 2nd another American beauty, what a player he was? In his fifteen year carrier of tennis he won fourteen grand slam single titles. I am talking about the great Pete Sampras. He also got the record to remain in 1st play for six consecutive years. In his 54 grand slam single tournament he won 204 matches out of 241. See, figures told us how good he was. He was a complete player because he knows how to use the full court against his opponents, which make him superior then others.
Now at top, the Swedish star. Who is currently ranked no .1 and all time leader in earnings at tennis world.  Roger Federer, this guy is a record breaker. He won sixteen grand slam single titles by breaking the record of American star Pete Sampras. He also has record to qualify ten consecutive finals of a grand slam tournament and an Olympic gold medal under his name. The people call him “Federer express” because of his success.
He is an all-court player. Jimmy Connors (one of the best player of his time) once give a statement about Federer is: "In an era of specialists, you're either a clay court specialist, a grass court specialist, or a hard court specialist...or you're Roger Federer."
May be someday someone will break their records, but history will always remember their names.
