Masterbation/Germaphobic Question?

Hello, it seems I have a problem. I have recently become more germaphobic (due to stress in my personal life) but I feel it is centering around my masterbation habits. Being a man, sperm may get on my hands while masterbating, and it is this that worries me.

Even though after masterbation I wash my hands with soap and water, it still worries me that there is the possibility of that hand coming in direct contact with a v****a. I am also hesitant to touch doorknobs with that hand, and other things of this nature. This could be days after any masterbation has occured.

I realize that this is extremely stupid and...stupid, but I still can't get the worry out of my mind. A pregnancy at my age would basically ruin my life. So is there any chance of this? At all? What can I do?

It has gotten to the point where after masterbation I am washing my hands with water so hot that I can barely touch it without cringing in pain. This is a serious problem, and is not causing me actual physical pain. I'd prefer to stop it before it gets any worse.

Also, it would be helpful if answers had reputable sources, just to put my mind at ease. Thank you very much...

Hi, i see how this bothers you. I used to think alike. But if you wash your hands you shouldn't have anything to worry about. If you ever watch any educational video about the fertilization of an egg, then you'll find out that a lot of the spermatozoon (sperm cells) die on their journey through a woman's cervix and inside the womb. That is because the white blood cells and t-cells of the woman's immune system tries to kill the "intruders" So even if you somehow had some sperm cells on ur hand after washing it.. it wouldnt be enought to impregnate a woman.

Then think . . . with all the males who are masturbating regularly, there would be a LOT of unplanned pregnancies if it was that easy to fertilize a female. Teenage boys m********e a lot - if your worries were realistic they'd be causing their sisters and mothers to become pregnant. As you know, that just doesn't happen.

It is possible to buy germicidal soap which kills germs when you wash - that will be more effective than very hot water. Ask at your local pharmacist.

In any case masturbation is good for your health - this is from Wikipedia:

If this worry persists I suggest that you seek counselling - this is often available free, and is very effective in helping one cope with stress, as I know from experience. Hypnotherapy is another useful approach.

This sounds like obsessive compulsive disorder.  Consider seeing a therapist or psychiatrist.

It is highly unlikely that any sperm will remain on your hands after washing them with soap and water. Even if you didn't wash your hands after wards, the sperm are all dead as soon as the s***n has dried up. If you want reputable sources, I don't know if this is the right place for you! You can try doing some google searches and only look at links from medical websites. Good luck.

First of all, THERE HAS TO BE PENETRATION for a female to conceve, SECOND sperm does not travel by its self to go into a vigina. THIRD it kind of dies after a while, so therefor it wont get anyone pregnant.

After your masturbation session ends its more likely to just end up in a tissue or toilet paper. RIGHT?

SO dont worrie. Just rememeber thoes emberrasing s*x ed talks in middle school.

REMEMBER you cant get anyone pregnant by masturbating.

Plus sperm dies if it comes in contact with oxygen for a short amount of time....So it wont do anything if you touch a v****a...
