Masters degree funding help?

im trying to get funing to do a film MA, anybody know any industry big cats who might be able to help,

or any advice from other people who have done a masters?

  1. I can't help with industry big cats, but I similarly did a MSc and had to fund it myself. There are several ways to go, the simplest being a part time job. I worked in a supermarket while I was studying and managed to pay off my fees (which were higher then normal at £6k!) to come out without debt.

    some banks offer a loan for further study, however a couple of my friends took these out, borrowing about £8000 and now need to pay back £10000 within about 5 years or so. I'd suggest pay as much as you can outright, and if you need to borrow the rest, but check around for a good rate. it's a shame there's no alternative to the student loan.

    I think a MSc can be very valuable also, after graduating I started my job (in the field I studied) within about 10 days.

    There are many students who self fund university including postgraduate degrees for those finger pointing people. I have been one of them.

  3. a masters degree is a waste of time and some one who dose not want to get out there and find a job.go find a job and save us money
