Chelsea’s Juan Mata believes that it will be a tough task for the Blues to beat Barcelona, but believes that his side have what it takes to beat the Catalans.
The Premier League side are set to take on Barcelona in the semi finals of the Champions League and with the Spanish side being hailed as the favourites going into the game, Mata believes that the Blues could have the underdogs advantage working in their
favour.
Chelsea went on to beat Tottenham Hotspur this past weekend in the FA Cup and the team will be looking to use that momentum, as they take on their upcoming opponents.
When talking about the game, the Spanish international is quoted to have said: "As soon as we found out that we were playing against Barca, everybody knew it would be difficult but not impossible.”
"Chelsea's hope is to progress, Barca will try to hold possession and force us to defend but we have a lot of experienced players in these type of ties."
The attacker then went on to mention that Barcelona didn’t feel very comfortable while playing at the Stamford Bridge and that they were always reluctant to play Chelsea away from home.

Mata then went on to add: "My team-mates did mention that if there is one stadium where Barca does not feel comfortable and struggle, that is Stamford Bridge, especially in recent years.”
"The previous meeting with them was a very exciting one until the end.”
"Deep in stoppage-time, Andres scored a great goal but that is in the past. I hope the outcome of this semi-final will be a different story."
