A massive century from Glen Querl put the Matabeleland Tuskers firmly in the lead on the second day of play during their ongoing first-class match against the Southern Rocks in the Logan Cup, played at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo on November 14.
The Rocks had kicked off the match by winning the toss and choosing to bat on the first day of play. However, senior paceman http://www.senore.com/Cricket/CB-Mpofu-c1219 (15.5-5-21-6) scythed through the Rocks’ batting order, and aided by Moeen Ali (16-5-34-2), succeeded in bowling them

the second wicket.
Querl drove the innings forward, and after Duffin’s dismissal at the hands of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/TN-Garwe-c2695 (18-5-52-2).
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SC-Williams-c2464 did not manage to contribute any runs before he was
snapped up by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/CK-Coventry-c1267 (50) managed a solid half-century, and teamed up with Querl for a 101-run seventh-wicket stand.

With Slater (5*) and Maunze (12*) at the crease, the Rocks had only managed to reach 17 for 0 during their second innings before play came to an end for the day, with the Rocks trailing by 211 runs, with 10 wickets still remaining.
