Matag dishwasher reassemby prolem

I have a Matag Model# MDB4100AWB dishwasher.I removed the spray arm to clean out clogged jets.Upon reassembly I can not get the thread started on the spray arm keeper cap.Is there a trick?Please help.Thanks Jason
