Match Bonus in Call of Duty 4?

Question

When playing in Xbox Live, on Call of Duty 4 for Xbxo 360, I noticed the Match Bonus doesn't seem to be very consistent. I have had like 10 kills, and 20 deaths, and got a similar match bonus to when I had 10 kills and 3 deaths. How does it determine your Match Bonus? Thanks!

all the extra points you get from uav's, challenges ,airstrikes, helicopters all add up   mine range from 300 - 700      play wit me my gamertag is     POPES BUTTBUDDY    i own cod4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   average 25 kills plus lower tan 10 deaths. my kill death adds are 22,000 kills and 17,000 deaths

it's determined by if you were on the winning team, or losing team for one, then it depends on the total score difference between the 2 teams

I happen to hold the opinion that the match bonus is randomly generated just to confuse and bewilder innocent gamers such as ourselves.
