Match Day Seven Fixtures – Part 1
Its match day seven in the Premiership and this marks one fifth of the English Premier League season complete. Even though most of the season is left to be played out, there are some teams that have left their mark and have worried others by their miraculous
endeavours.
Some teams have broken past boundaries and some have regained older ones. Whereas some teams like Chelsea and Manchester United have secured their reputation this season as the teams that other clubs should inspire to beat.
Though to be fair these clubs had done these ages ago but they proved it yet again this year. There have been some very interesting matches last week as the clubs in the middle of the league are trying their best to increase their rank before the season
is over.
The most interesting match of the weekend was the Chelsea and Manchester City match; the match did not disappoint and lived up to the expectations of the fans.
The coming weekend’s match that just can’t be missed includes Chelsea against Carlo Ancelloti’s boys’ battling it out against the Gunners on the Blues home.
Arsenal is looking to improve its score in the league and come close to the defending champions as right now Chelsea is on the top followed closely by Manchester United and then Arsenal.
Manchester United Against Sunderland
Sir Alex Ferguson has never lost to Steve Bruce, the Sunderland manager. The Red Devils came off with a two to two draw in their match against the Bolton Wanderers and Michael Owen netted the ball in the seventy fourth minute.
Manchester United let in seven goals in a period of three matches back in September and are very keen to take down Sunderland’s top striker who is leading the club with five goals scored and he also scored two goals against Liverpool.
Manchester United’s defence has been lacking certain key points and their goals have been somewhat questionable and it is expected by some to end the match with another draw in their next fixture.
Blackburn Rovers against Stoke City
The Potter’s form has been on the rise, the major contributing factor behind this is believed to be Kenwyne Jones, who is a striker from Trinidadian. He has scored in all the last four matches of this season and still does not stop to impress the masses.
After their disastrous start in August, Stoke City has come back and has come out shinning in its matches against Newcastle and Aston Villa while scoring a draw with West Ham United.
Blackburn Rovers have also done well for themselves this season as they have gone undefeated last month and have had draws against Manchester City and Fulham.
The only threat left is if Blackburn can hinder Jones advances then they might go on with another match unbeaten.
Bolton Wanderers against West Brom United
Bolton and West Brom came off with terrific results last week; West Brom United is currently ranked sixth in the English Premier League.
West Brom also made another stunning win over the Gunners at their own Home, the Emirates and the match ended with the score boards reading three to two.
Whereas Bolton only managed a draw against Manchester United, even though both these clubs have performed very well against the big clubs. The results of the next match between these two clubs is somewhat confusing and it is hard to decide which one will
come out at the better end.
Bolton is struggling with his players consistency where as West Brom is going up and about with their amazing start.
