Match Day Seven Fixtures – Part 2
Aston Villa against Tottenham Hotspurs
Both these clubs have come to the top of the league numerous times before and the next match between Villa and the lily whites is on White Hart Lane and this is expected to be an interesting one.
Tottenham Hotspurs just came from four to one win against FC Twente but are struggling to have a better play this time.
Plus going against Aston Villa is not going to be a walk in the park but on a plus side the club will not have Gabriel Abonglahor with them in the match, and even though he has not even scored a single goal this season, he is still considered a threat.
Aston Villa is doing very well in spite of James Milner’s leave from the club and Stewart Downing is leading the club rather nicely.
The new manager Gérard Houllier has a lot of work to do and this is going to be a true test for Aston Villa.
Arsenal against Chelsea
The next most interesting fixture coming up is taking place at Stamford Bridge and with the goal scoring capacities of both the teams; it does not come as a shock as both of them are in the top three slots of the Premiership.
The blues have scored more than nineteen goals where as the Gunners have only scored more than nine and this speaks of Chelsea’s superior defensive capabilities and not to mention their daunting attack.
This is said to be a difficult time for Arsenal as the last time the Gunners were victorious against the Blues was back in November 2008.
Cesc Fabregas has been named out of this game so players like Maroune Chamakh and Samir Nasri have to pick up the Gunner’s slack if the team is hoping to even ease out the gap between the two teams.
