England Women convincingly thrashed Indian Women, managing to pick up an easy victory by 46 runs at Taunton. The 35-year-old, SC http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Taylor-c92915, was adjudged the top performer of the game for her blistering 66 off 46 deliveries.
Indian Women chasing a formidable total of 134-runs in their limited quota of 20 overs, failed to make full use of the opportunity as they only managed to score 88 runs at the loss of 8-wickets in 20 overs, falling 46-runs behind.
From England’s side, DN Wyatt, led the bowling attack from front as she claimed 2 wickets for 20 runs at an economy rate of 5.00.
From Indian Women, wicket-keeper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Deshpande-c53821 and debutant N.Tanwar opened the run-chase steadily as they piled up just 14-runs in 4.2 overs.
Deshpande departed after scoring only 5 runs off 15 deliveries, KH Brunt claimed the first wicket of India women.
M Rah succeeded Deshpande, together with Tanwar she steered her team’s total to 38-runs but after claiming 17 off 17 deliveries, some senseless running from both the ends led her exit, leaving Indian women struggling hard at 38/2 in 9.5 over’s.
Next batter in was http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Hugh-Morris-c63550.Kaur who joined Tanwar out in the middle, both went on to add only six more runs to the total , Tanwar was dismissed for 17 at the bowling of Wyatt, after she made an impactful debut for Indian Women today.
At this point, India women were in the middle of the storm as they were 44/3, after adding 2 more runs to the total Kaur also perished after scoring only 3 runs off 9 deliveries.
At 46/4 in just 12.1 http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 Women were definitely under immense pressure as till then they failed to capitalize on any of the partnership.
Afterwards except for A Sharma, P Roy and J.http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mayank-Goswami-c75433 none of their batter even reached the mark of double figures.

At the end, a commendable bowling effort from England Women that well contained the Indian batter’s led them to their fourth consecutive victory against India Women.
Earlier, First innings at Taunton proved to be a lucrative one for England Women as they posted a challenging total of 134 runs in 19.5 overs, although their whole batting line-up fell prey to the Indian bowling attack but still they managed a decent total
