Question:

Material instead of backer board on a bathroom stall?

I saw on TV the contractors using a material that was glued to the floor that substituted for the backer board. I saw some "honeycombed" material at Home depot, used for the floor. Will that work on walls too?

  1. The Kerdi system is a very good solution, I think this site will answer some questions for you. I used the Kerdi system on green drywall, all the way down to the drain, and tiled over it 5 years ago.
