Maternity Leave and Bonuses, what am i entitled to?

If i get a quarterly bonus, while im maternity leave am i entitled to get the bonus? I am still employed with them while on maternity leave, so i should be, right...?

  1. I'm sorry, but you really need to check with your HR department on this hun - companies are so different and laws are so different depending on where you live.


  2. Yes you will be entitled.

    Edited to say - Maybe at a reduced rate depending on when you went onto maternity. Why not just ask them.

  3. yes u should get the full bonus as u are still classed as an employee

    it should be easy enough to find out. Ask your HR department and make sure u get it in writing if they say u will still get the bonus

  4. depends on what the bonus is for . . when I worked for a big corp and took my leave to have my son . . I worked on a project from march til july( when I left) but because I was gone when the project was complete in sept I didn't get a project bonus . .
