Mateusz Sawrymowicz captures the Men’s 1500m freestyle title at Polish Long Course Nationals
Mateusz Sawrymowicz took home the Men’s 1500m freestyle title on day four of the Polish Long Course Nationals, held in Poland, on Sunday, May 22.
Sawrymowicz finished first with a sterling time of 15:00.82 minutes in the respective meet and jumped into the fourth place in the world rankings, behind Sun Yang (14:42.52), Samuel Pizzetti (14:56.47) and Yosuke Miyamoto (14:57.56).
Pawel Korzeniowski earned the second spot in 15:19.73 minutes and Karol Zaczynski rounded out the top three in 15:32.23 minutes. Sawrymowicz was delighted with his intriguing performance in the Men’s 1500m freestyle final at Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski, last
night.
On the other hand, the Women’s 400m medley relay title was clinched by Anna Porzelska, Mirela Olczak, Paulina Zachoszcz and Alicja Tchorz with the fastest time of 4:12.11 minutes.
The Men’s 400m medley relay crown went to Radoslaw Kawecki, Tomasz Rumianowski, Adam Plutecki and Jakub Jasinski, with a winning time of 3:46.49 minutes.

In the Men’s 100m freestyle final, Konrad Czerniak captured the golden crown with a time of 48.76 seconds and improved to 14th place in the world rankings. Marcin Tarczynski placed second in 50.79 seconds, whereas, Daniel Rzadkowski and Lukasz Gasior
settled with a tie for the third spot in a time of 51.06 seconds.
Dawid Szulich picked up the top seed in the Men’s 100m breaststroke event with a time of 1:01.18 minutes and jumped into the 23rd place in the international rankings. Slawomir Kuczko settled second with a time of 1:03.38 minutes and Filip Rowinski
secured the third spot in 1:03.53 minutes.
Meanwhile, the Women’s 100m freestyle title was taken over by Katarzyna Wilk with a winning time of 55.60 seconds. Katarzyna Staszkiewicz captured silver with a time of 57.00 seconds, while Sonia Wiechec grabbed bronze in 57.05 seconds.
Weronika Paluszek took home the Women's 100m breaststroke title with a matchless time of 1:10.57 minutes. Agnieszka Ostrowska snared silver in 1:10.75 minutes, while Ewa Sceiszko nabbed bronze in a time of 1:10.88 minutes.

Anna Dowgiert topped the Women's 50m butterfly meet with a winning time of 27.16 seconds. On the other hand, Marcelina Radlinska took silver with a 28.00 seconds time and Sara Skrzydlo settled third in a time of 28.14 seconds. Dowgiert took a huge round of
applause from the crowd after her stunning performance in the event.
In the Men’s 50m butterfly, Marcin Babuchowski claimed the gold medal with a sterling time of 24.58 seconds, while Adam Plutecki was placed second with a 24.72 seconds time. Maciej Lewandowski secured the third spot in 24.83 seconds.

Paula Zukowska won the Women’s 800m freestyle title with a winning time of 8:51.37 minutes. Donata Kilijanska took silver with a time of 8:51.64 minutes and Natalia Charlos was placed third in a time of 8:51.66 minutes.
