  1. 3/5 x 80

    = (3 x 80)/5

    = 240/5

    = 240 ÷ 5

    = 48

  2. 3/5 x 80

    = 3 x 16

    = 48

  3. 3/5*80 you mean?

    So 80=8*10

    8*10/5=8*2=16

    16*3=48

Do you live in the land without calculators?

  7. (3 / 5) x 80

Division and product, you may choose one of them to be solved first. Let's choose product first, it's easier.

    3x80 = 240,

then we divided 240 with 5, and we'll get the answer.

    240 / 5 = 48.

    48 is the answer

  8. 3/5 * 80 is also 3/5 * 80/1.

So multiply the top (numerators) across, you get 3*80 = 240

Do the same for the bottom (denominators), you get 5*1 = 5

    You will get 240/5= 48

  9. 3/5 x 80

    = 3 x 16                  (as 5x16=80)

    = 48
