1. Separate into two separate sums

    -4 < 4f + 24  & 4f + 24 <= 4

    First sum

    -4 < 4f + 24

    -28 < 4f

    4f > -28

    f > - 7

    Second sum

    4f + 24 <= 4

    4f <= -20

    f <= -5

    So 'f' has to be greater than -7 and less than or equal to -5

    f: { -6, -5}

  2. -4 < 4f + 24 <= 4

    -4-24 < 4f + 24 -24<= 4-24

    -28<4f<=-20

    -7< f <= - 5
