  1. I think ~n~ means pi . This only makes sense. If it is pi, then V = 3.14r2h ...This is the formula for the volume of a cylinder. To solve for r, divide pi and h, so you will get v*h/pi(since you are dividing by h, you take the reciprocal). Then you take the square root of r, therefore getting:  sqrt(v*h/pi)

  2. I'm guessing that ~n~ represents pi.

    V = pi r^2 h; divide by pi h

    V / pi h = r^2; take sq rt

    r = sq rt [ V / pi h]

    V = pi r^2 h

    h = V / pi r^2

  3. Are you looking for a volume of a cylinder?.. well if yes,

    Volume of a cylinder = (pi)(radius)*2(height)

    V is the volume, pi isn't really written as n, r is the radius, h is the height

    and to find the radius:

    Radius =Square root of the Volume of cylinder divided by (pi)(height)
