About that trig question.. with the answers something like 90, 221, 318...

i was able to get 90 by using the cos reference angle of 0, and the other 2 i used from the calculator and had some work. But i messed that question up badly lol. any idea if i would get any credit for the answers ? or just having the correct work for getting the 90 degree answer? Thanks

  1. it was 221.4 because you had to round to the nearest tenth.

plus, it was sin, not cos.

but i got those answers as well, but i rounded correctly.

(that test was hard compared to the past regents i took the night before!)

  2. yea i got 90, 221.8 or something, then 312. something. i remember u had to round to the nearest hundredth...

But you'll get some credit for at least getting the 90 and showing work

  3. i also got only 90

i think we get partial credit.

  4. i believe it was 3cos(2x)+2sin(x)+1

i got the correct answer on the calc but i couldnt get it showing work

    answers were 90.00,221.81,318.19

if you had the correct answers you get 2 points, i think youll get 1 point:-) for having 90

    2 points for showing work:-)

Now answering the ? i know you had to substitute cos(2x) with 1-sin^2(x) but i did and was unable to get correct answers. I think i got 1 point because i did it on calc but i didnt round right:-( i didnt have 90.00
