Venn diagrams

I think my teacher messed it up.

A survey of 80 sophmores at a certain western college showed to following:

36 take english

32 take political science

16 take political sceince and history

6 take all three

32 take history

16 take history and english

14 take political science and english

I did the venn diagram right starting from the middle blah blah blah.

but the number of students is less than what i added in the union.

so help and explain your answer or otherwise tell me if my teacher made the mistake

  1. If 16 = PS + H, and

    14 = PS + E, and

    6 = all three, then 36 take PS, not 32.

    Good job figuring out that the teacher messed up!  Yea for you!
