Here it is, I'll just do the whole thing, I did some, but not all, so HELP!

The greatest one-day temperature change in the world record occurred at Browning, Montana (bordering Glacier National Park_, from January 23-24 in 1916. The temperature fell from 44degree (F) to -56degree (F) in less than 24hrs.

A. What was the temperature change that day?

B. Write a number sentence to represent the temperature change.

C. Show the temperature change on a number line.

This is what I've got so far:

A. 100degrees (F) decreased

B. ?

C ?

On B & C help me, but on C, can you explain how to draw the number line... (I know how to draw it, but just tell me the increments and how)

Thank you so much, so, so, much!

  1. B.  the number sentence is how you got the answer to A.

                          44 - (-56) = 100

    C.  the increments would probably be 5 or 10 degrees...  you would have a 0 in the middle, then have negative numbers on the left and positive on the right, and just mark your -56 and 44 on the number line.
