Alright so here we go.

Determine what polynomial expressions are required for A and B to make the following statement true.

A/-B * B^2/A = 3-4x, where x cannot be equal to -5, and 3/4

So I got the first one, B=4x-3

but I just can't get the other one.

  1. The key is the "x cannot equal -5".  Let A = x + 5.  It will cancel out of your equation, but the fact that it's there means you can't let x be -5.
