  1. go to this website

  2. True?

  3. I believe it would take about 111.11 minutes. Fun stuff. Lol.

    You would want to do 10,000(m)/1.5(m/s)=seconds to walk.

  4. D is distance

    r is rate or speed.

    t is time

    D=rt.

    r=D/t

    t=D/r

    so Time in seconds is 10km/1.5meters/second

    one kilometer is 1000 meters.

    rewrite as 10000m/1.5mps

    or 20000m/3mps

    6666 and two thirds seconds.

    60 seconds per minute.  60minute per hour.  3600seconds per hour.

    or 1.85185 hour.  111.1 minutes.

    in everyday talk.  one hour, 51 minutes and 6 seconds.

  5. the answer is 6666.6..........second

    which is 111 min

    whch is 2 hour and 25 min

    vote me best answer if i got it right!!!!

  6. there's 1000 meters in a kilometer so you do 10000/1.5=6666.6 seconds which equals roughly and hour and 51 minutes i think i did it right :P

  7. 10 Kilometers = 10,000 meters

    Therefore time = distance/speed = 10,000 meters/1.5 (meters/sec)

    = 6,666.67 sec = 111.11 min = 1.85 hrs = 1 hr, 51 min, 6.67 sec

  8. first, convert ten kilometers into meters, i think it's either one hundred or one thousand meters, but i am not too good with metric so i am not sure. then use a proportion to solve cross multiply and solve for the variable, it should give you the amount of time she would take in seconds, which you should then convert into minutes for tidy-nesses sake.

    hope that helped, good luck! :)
